Abhishek Bachchan has been invited to head the jury at the upcoming Indian International Film Festival of Queensland, which will take place in Brisbane, Australia.

Abhishek Bachchan has been invited to head the jury at the upcoming Indian International Film Festival of Queensland, which will take place in Brisbane, Australia. The actor will be presiding over a three-member jury at the five-day event. The festival will take place from July 9 to July 13.



A source close to Abhishek says, “The panel will also include Dr Mandy Thomas, executive dean, Creative Industries, Queensland University of Technology, Hollywood producer Charles Fries, and Anne Demy-Geroe, a film academic and specialist in Asian cinema.”



Apparently, the 39-year-old actor will also inaugurate the festival. The source adds, “He will leave for Australia on July 7.” Abhishek remained unavailable for a comment, but his spokesperson confirmed the news.
