He is known for his action sequences, but actor Vidyut Jamwal says that he now wants to try some non-action films. The actor says that the script is most important, not the genre. “I am open to non action roles too. It all depends on the role and the director of the film. If he believes that I will suit the role, then I will take it up,” says Vidyut.
“I want to try all genres, but doing a drama is at the top of my list. I recently shot for an action-drama, but I am looking at doing an out and out drama now,” he adds.
Talking about the directors who he wants to work with, Vidyut says, “The list is so long, but I am thrilled to have got the chance to work with Tigmanshu Dhulia. He has been on my wish list for a while.”
Vidyut, who has been seen in films such as Force (2011) and Commando (2013), says that audience expectations drive him to perform better. “The audience makes you push yourself to work harder. As an actor, it is challenging to keep your fans satisfied with your work and I enjoy this challenge. This is why I want to take up work which makes me push the envelope,” he says.
