The latest to join the bandwagon of films featuring remakes of old songs is Boss. The makers have bought the rights to the song ‘Har kisi ko nahi milta’, from Jaanbaz (1986) and will have a reworked version in their upcoming film.

“This evergreen song shook all other chartbusters at that time. In the original, Sridevi dances with Feroz Khan. In Boss, it’s shot with Shiv Pandit and Aditi Rao Hydari,” says a source close to the production house, adding, “It has been remade with a contemporary feel and has a catchy beat. The song comes at a very integral point in the film. It has been shot in Delhi and Pattaya.”

Ask Aditi about this and she says, “It’s an iconic song, and we all had a lot of fun shooting for it. It has been adapted differently, and the new version is romantic and beautiful. We had a great time filming it at different locations — from India Gate to a yacht (in Pattaya). It’s one of those tracks that just keeps playing in your head on loop.”
