He shot the climax of his blockbuster, 3 Idiots (2009), in a beautiful location in Ladakh and now, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is set to revisit the region for a song in his upcoming film.

The director, who is currently in Beijing for a film festival, has finalised the hilly location for the special song of his multi-starrer.

A source close to Hirani reveals, "In the past, Raju sir has shot a sequence in Ladakh, and he is now tempted to go there and shoot the song too. He is familiar with the location and the locals there had been extremely cooperative the last time he was there." The movie, starring Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Anushka Sharma, is almost finished, exceptfor the song and a few scenes.

The source adds, "The climatic conditions may make it a little tricky to shoot there. Raju sir is excited since he has teamed up with Aamir again." The team will begin shooting the song in June.

The source adds, "The shoot will go on for about two weeks, and the song will feature only Aamir. Raju sir is likely to go to Ladakh once before they begin shooting to make the arrangements."
