Amit Sadh first put on 22 kg for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next, and then lost 30 kg to achieve a six-pack look for AR Murgadoss’s film, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha. For Tigmanshu’s film, the story of which spans a few decades, Amit had to put on weight to look older. But in the other film, he has a boy-next-door role, which required him to look fitter. A source close to the actor reveals, “Since there wasn’t too much gap between the schedules of the two films, Amit faced a bit of a problem with his health while gaining and losing all that weight.”

The actor started gaining weight towards the end of last year, and then began losing it February onward.

When contacted, the actor confirmed the news, saying, “I weighed almost 63 kg initially. Then, I had to gain 22 kg for Tigmanshu sir’s film, and then lose all of that for Murgadoss sir’s film. It was difficult as I had only a few months to get back into shape. The entire process was way too quick, which also resulted in some doctor visits to keep a check on my health. But I am happy I achieved it.”
