After SRK, Arshad Warsi gets injured during film shoot

Arshad Warsi injured himself while performing a stunt for his upcoming film The Legend of Michael Mishra. The actor, who is "fine" now, hit his head against a metal trolley which resulted in him getting seriously hurt.

Arshad took to Twitter to announce that he "under observation" and thanked everyone for the wishes.

"Big thank you to all of you who care for me. I am fine and under observation. All I can say is I was very lucky, I think God really loves me," Arshad posted on the microblogging site Friday.

Recently, superstar Shah Rukh Khan suffered a serious fall on the sets of his upcoming film Happy New Year. Ameesha Patel also injured herself while shooting an action sequence for her film.

Arshad was last seen in Abhishek Chaubey's Dedh Ishqiya, which received mixed reviews at the box office.

Other Bollywood stars who got injured on film sets

Vivek Oberoi: During the shoot of Yuva (2004), Vivek Oberoi fractured his leg while performing a stunt. He had another accident while attempting a stunt for Kismet Paisa Love Dilli in 2012 and hurt his back while shooting for Zilla Ghaziabad in the past.

Ranveer Singh: While shooting for Gunday in Kolkata, Ranveer got a nasty gash on his cheek. Again, on the sets of the same film, a piece of glass hurt Ranveer’s foot. He also managed to hurt his fingers while shooting for a sequence in Ram Leela. Later, while shooting for Lootera in Dalhousie, the actor suffered a back injury.

Amitabh Bachchan: During Coolie (1983), while shooting in the University Campus in Bengaluru, Bachchan suffered a near-fatal intestinal injury during the filming of a fight scene with co-actor Puneet Issar.

Sonu Sood: The actor suffered from multiple fractures on his right leg and ligament tears while participating in the Celebrity Cricket League in 2013.

Akshay Kumar: While shooting for the tentatively titled Pistol, Akshay Kumar had to perform an action sequence that involved running down a flight of stairs. The actor started the scene on the sixth floor, but he fell while on the second floor and twisted his ankle.
