Ever since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has announced that she is ready to face the arc lights for Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa, after a sabbatical of five years (her last film was Guzaarish; 2010), every bit of news about her film has been generating interest. The latest is that the makers of the Sanjay Gupta directorial have decided to incorporate a promotional song in the film featuring Aishwarya.
"The script is such that there’s no room for any song, and Sanjay is clear that he doesn’t want to forcibly add one. But since the makers feel know that Aishwarya’s fans would expect a song in the film, they have come up with the idea to shoot a special video featuring her," says an insider.
Interestingly, the actor has already givena go-ahead for the idea. "When the makers discussed it with her, she readily agreed. It will be shot in a very stylish and edgy manner. Initial preparations regarding the concept and treatment have already started, but it will be shot only once a major part of the shoot is complete," adds the insider.
The director is now looking for the song that makes the cut. "While four-five numbers have already been suggested by some of the top composers, more options will be considered before deciding on the final one," says the insider.
When contacted, Gupta confirmed the news, saying, "We are on the lookout for an apt song for the video."
