We heard snippets of the song in the trailer and suspected some high-tempo number is our way. As director-actor Ajay Devgn revealed the title song of Shivaay late Sunday, we must tell you we are not disappointed.
Mohit Chauhan, Sukhwinder, Megha Sriram, Dalton and Badshah, have lent their voices for the song released on Hotstar. Composed by Mithoon, the song is titled Bolo Har Har and is reminds us of the famous Kailash Kher’s Bam Lahiri.
Ajay took to Twitter to share the song.
Soon, wife Kajol took too tweeted her reaction to the song.
I don't need drugs or alcohol .... my new high Shivaay. https://t.co/QvNrWAc7W0— Kajol (@KajolAtUN) September 11, 2016
The song is a fusion of classical and folk tune. Badshah’s ‘rap’ gives it a new dimension touch to it. The three-and-half minute number treats us with some good visual effects.
The film, which also features Erika Kaar and Sayyeshaa Saigal, sees Devgn as a Himalayan mountaineer, capable of being a ‘destroyer’ and ‘protector’ like Lord Shiva.
Shivaay speaks about the God lying within us. Ajay’s character says in the trailer, “Na aadi na antt uska, woh sabka na inka-unka. Wahi Shunya hai, wahi ikaye, jiske bheetar basa Shivaay (With no beginning and no end. Indivisible and equal to all. Nothing and yet Shiva is in all of us.)”
This movie will hit theatres on October 28, clashing with Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
