Crowds went berserk seeing Ajay Devgn in Bhopal on Sunday morning, as he was shooting for an upcoming film, Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha.

An insider close to the project reveals that the actor was at a marketplace for an important scene. The unit had expected no trouble at all. “It was an organised shoot and everything was under control until the locals realised that the actor on the location was none other than Ajay,” says the source.

Soon, a crowd started gathering around the area; some came out of sheer curiosity while came to catch a glimpse of Ajay.

“We had 18 security guards deployed around the shooting area, but as time passed the number of people increased. Our guards couldn’t control the crowd anymore, so we had to call the police to help Ajay out,” says the source.

Apparently, some over-zealous fans also tried to breach security in order to reach out to the actor. “Of course, it wasn’t their intention to harm anyone, but it was important keep Ajay safe” adds the source.

The makers eventually had to call the police to take control of the situation. “There was no violence reported. People were co-operative and Ajay exited the area safely, thanks to the police,” says the source.
