Bollywood's most bankable twosome, Akshay Kumar and Prabhudheva, is back in the game with their next Singh Is Bliing. The first trailer of the film has packed in enough drama to catapult Akshay as North India's biggest action star. Speaking at the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar said Singh Is Bliing is not a sequel to his 2008 Singh Is Kinng.

"You have seen me as a 'sardaar' in many films, be it Namastey London or Singh Is Kinng, but it's (this) not a sequel to Singh Is Kinng. It is absolutely different from that," the actor said.

Singh is Bliing presents Akshay as Raftaar Singh, who is (in)famous in Punjab for his wisecracks and bravado. The trailer shows him holding a lion by a rope but the scenario changes very soon when his father asks him to marry the neighbourhood girl Sweety. He has to go to Goa for a job in case he doesn't accept the first condition. Akshay meets Amy Jackson in Goa and their love-story takes off for good, but there are enemies waiting for the right time to strike.

The trailer looks fun and promises to be another worthy addition to Akshay's earlier biggies such as Singh Is King and Khiladi 786. Director Prabhudheva, however, is tensed. "There is 200 percent happiness for the trailer and film but 500 percent tension is there."

"It's a very funny story and has a bit of emotions too. If you all remember, Prabhudheva and I did a film called 'Rowdy Rathore'. This film belongs to that genre. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed working in it."

Produced by Grazing Goat Pictures, Singh Is Bliing also features Kay Kay Menon and Lara Dutta. It is slated to release on October 2.
