Akshay Kumar showcases canine chemistry in It's Entertainment trailer

Even as Akshay Kumar fans gear up for his June release Holiday - A Soldier is Never Off Duty, the first trailer of the actor's next It's Entertainment is out.

Starring Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mithun Chakraborty in major roles, Its Entertainment promises fun for the audience.


Going by the first trailer, debutant director-duo Sajid-Farhad seem to have come up with a well-cooked masala movie. Krushna Abhishek along with Akshay Kumar begin the trailer with their Bollywood-laden punches, setting up the mood.

Even before you see their faces you hear a 'Deewar rip-off': "

Mere paas locket hai, letter hai, baap ki tasveer hai, dna ki bottle hai

." Akshya further explains that DNA is "

Daddy's najayaz aulaad

" (illegal child of daddy).


The trailer moves ahead and gives you a taste of fun as Akshay Kumar takes on Entertainment, the other important character in the movie - a dog. The action star showcases brilliant canine chemistry as he fights, fears and soon befriends the dog.

Talking about her co-actor Akshay,


told PTI, "He is a brilliant actor. Even if he does a simple scene, he makes it look extraordinary. I think I had good chemistry with Akshay. He is a very nice human being and a very down-to-earth person. One thing I find weird is that Akshay doesn't seem to grow old."

Akshay Kumar shared his experience of shooting with canines, "Dogs can be your best friends, but you can't compare them with human beings. You get to learn a lot if you have pets. Once we finished shooting, it was difficult for all of us as we all missed the dog in the film."

"It's not easy shooting with dogs. You have to understand their mood completely. We had four to five dogs on the sets and we used to finish our shoot first, then we used to take their shots," he added.

The film also stars Johnny Lever, Prakash Raj, Krushna Abhishek and Sonu Sood. It;'s Entertainment is set to hit theatres on August 8.
