The much-awaited first look of Karan Malhotra's Brothers is out!

Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jackie Shroff look rugged and edgy in the first poster of the movie which is set inside the boxing ring.

Thanks to the fans of the actors, #WeWantBrothersPoster started trending on Twitter hours before Akshay Kumar finally shared the poster. He tweeted, "Here's the first look of my next film @Brothers2015 exclusively for you guys, would love to know your thoughts," along with the picture.

An official remake of the Hollywood movie Warrior (2011), the film traces the journey of two estranged brothers. When the youngest son (Joel Edgerton) of an alcoholic former boxer (Nick Nolte) returns home, he's trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament - a path that puts the fighter on a collision corner with his older brother (Tom Hardy).

Does that remind you of Dharamendra-Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol-starrer Apne? The film where Dharamendra - the dad - is crazy about winning a boxing match and trains his sons. Or is it too far fetched?

While Akshay and Sidharth play the brothers, Jackie steps into the shoes of Nolte, who played the father in the original movie. Kareena Kapoor will also be seen in a guest appearance in the film. Produced by Karan Johar, Brothers also features Jacqueline Fernandez in a lead role.

Brothers will also show Shad Gaspard, known for WWF Raw, in a fight against Akshay. The actor shared his excitement over his Bollywood debut on Twitter: "Bollywood debut in #Brothers, where I fight @akshaykumar. One of the best men I've ever met in my life. A man who exemplifies the word #superstar...#BrothersBollywood #BrothersMovie starring #SidharthMalhotra #JackieShroff #AkshayKumar #wwe #shadgaspard #crymetyme."
