Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna and Dimple Kapadia showed their support for Blank at the film’s screening in Mumbai. See pics.

Actor Akshay Kumar and his author wife Twinkle Khanna showed support to her cousin Karan Kapadia’s film Blank as they attended its screening in Mumbai on Tuesday. Akshay and Twinkle were joined by her mother Dimple Kapadia and even posed with Karan at the red carpet.

Karan was seen in black T-shirt and pants and gave tight cuddles to his aunt Dimple. She was dressed in an off-white and golden saree. Twinkle was seen in a white and black dress while Akshay was seen in black pants and black T-shirt.

Also spotted at the screening were actors Tusshar Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. They gave Karan a big hug as they posed with him on the red carpet. Actor Bobby Deol also arrived in black Bermuda shorts, sporting a thick moustache. See their pics:

Blank also stars Sunny Deol as an ATS chief on a mission to neutralise a suicide bomber (Karan). Karan’s brother-in-law Akshay, on the other hand, gave his support through a special song in the film. “When I signed the film in 2016, Sunny sir was not a part of it at that time. It was a small film then. Now it has become a big film due to Sunny sir and Akshay sir. It is incredible. I had never imagined it this way,” Karan told PTI.

“I am a first-time actor, Behzad Khambata is a new director and you need someone of that kind of experience. It also helps you workwise. They have loyal, die-hard fans and that too helps in getting attention,” he said.

Talking about the high-energy number Akshay shot for Blank, Karan said, the song was initially not a part of the plan.“He was really proud of what I had done and said this was his way of wishing me luck. We never saw it coming,” he added. Blank is slated to release on May 3.
