Singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar is all set to take on the role of a guest lecturer next week. The Pakistani artiste has been invited by the University of Lahore to give media students a lecture on the present state of the Pakistani film industry vis-à-vis Bollywood. Ali will primarily be discussing his journey in the Hindi film industry, and how he went from singing pop songs in Pakistan to acting in Bollywood films.

“He will not only talk to the students about how he came to be accepted as an actor in India, but also about the possibilities of Pakistani artistes working in India and vice versa. He will also draw comparisons between the two film industries wherever relevant,” says a source.

Meanwhile, Ali has already started preparing for the lecture by gathering his thoughts about the topics he is going to be discussing. The actor confirms the development, saying, “I am humbled to have been invited to interact with the students in Lahore. This is something I am looking forward to.”
