protagonists Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor on Twitter. It will take place at PVR Cinemas, Juhu.

In case you have still not guessed, it's the trailer launch of the Abhishek Varman's film 2 States we are talking about.

"Hi guys. There's an engagement in the family day after, Feb 28, 12 noon. Short notice, but hope you guys can make it," posted author Chetan Bhagat, whose semi-autobiographical book 2 States has been adapted into the film by the same name.

The engagement ceremony (2 States trailer launch event) will take place at PVR Cinemas, Juhu at 12 noon.

"I'm getting engageddddddd !!!" posted Alia Bhatt on her Twitter page.

2 States is the love story of a couple coming from two different states in India. So Alia Bhatt plays a south Indian girl sans the accent, Arjun Kapoor is the quintessential north Indian boy.

To be produced by Karan Johar, the film will hit the theatres on April 18.

"For me he (Arjun) has a very special place in my life... we were shooting for Highway and 2 States around same time. He became a good friend of mine. He is a funny person and has a good sense of humor," Alia said.
