Sonakshi Sinha has advice for Shaktiman, Alia Bhatt demands action

Alia Bhatt, Virat Kohli, Sonakshi Sinha and Rishi Kapoor and Hema Malini took to Twitter to express their shock for the way a BJP MLA attacked a police horse, Shaktiman.

Bollywood stars expressed their rage over how a BJP MLA attacked a police horse Shaktiman during a rally.

Don’t hurt innocent animals! Bollywood expressed its rage over the incident that took place on Monday, wherein a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Mussoorie, Ganesh Joshi, mercilessly thrashed a police horse named Shaktiman during a protest against Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat.

Sonakshi Sinha had a word of advice for Shaktiman, “That horse should have kicked him in the face.”

Cricketer Virat Kohli termed the MLA’s act “cowardly”. “Shocked & disgusted at the unprovoked attack on a beautiful, harmless animal. Nothing more cowardly!!! Hope strongest and swiftest action is taken soon! Let’s all pray for Shaktiman.”

Veteran actress Hema Malini took to her Twitter handle and shared the picture of the injured horse. Along with it, she wrote, “I can’t believe anyone can do ths to an innocent animal! It’s inhuman & shld be condemned. Thk God it has survived!”

Meanwhile, sharing the same picture, actress Alia Bhatt wrote, “This is beyond disgusting!!!!! How can we let this happen???? Can we not even spare animals now??” which was followed by her tweet, “Animals don’t have a voice! We have to be their voice.. We can by no means tolerate this!!! #Dehradun it’s tragic and really shameful..”

Commenting on the incident, Rishi Kapoor tweeted, “Appropriate action should be taken against that MLA for doing this. Appalled to see this act of barbarism. Shameful!”

The horse on Tuesday was operated upon for around four and a half hours by a group of 10 doctors. It suffered multiple fractures during the incident.
