Actor Tusshar Kapoor is drawing a lot of complements for his mustachioed look in The Dirty Picture, which releases today. The actor says being compared to his father -Jeetendra - is the best among them.

"People say I look a lot like my father in this look. He was such an established actor, so I think it's a huge compliment," says Kapoor, who plays the character of Ramakant, a shy writer, in the movie.

How much is he like Ramakant in real life? "I'm not really like him. I used to be shy, but working as an actor has made me outgoing now. I relate more to him in second-half of the movie, when he is a mix of extrovert and introvert," says the 35-year-old actor.

The Shor in the City actor admits to pre-release jitters. "I am trying not to expect anything from the film, but with the kind of response the trailers are getting, I am very excited about it. So a conflict is going on inside me. I am trying not to expect anything but can't help from expecting," says the actor, who claims actor Vidya Balan can be aloof at times.

"I enjoyed working with her (Balan). She has got no hang-ups. She is very down-to-earth and easy to work with, though she can be a bit aloof at times." However, his favourite co-star still remains Kareena Kapoor. "She is a close friend. There is no one like her," he asserts.

Vidya-TussharOn playing a character from 80s, the actor says, "It is ironic that people look down to the era of 80's which was the era of entertainment.

We have just one song inspired from that era and it has already become a chartbuster. The same people who made those movies hits, like to call them raunchy or crass. That is the double standard of our society, the dirty secret that this movie tries to point out."

Call her a sex bomb or a seductress, actor Vidya Balan has no complains. After her bold avatar in The Dirty Picture, she is enjoying all these nicknames. "I'm thoroughly enjoying the various adjectives and terms that are being thrown at me. But I don't know whether my dad's going to take that or not," says the 33-year-old actor.

Balan, who looks her sexiest best in the film, says it was a cakewalk to be Silk Smitha (her character). "Milan's (Luthria) only brief was to be unapologetic about being uninhibited," she says, adding, "This film gave me ample opportunities to tap into my sexuality. Silk celebrates her body and sexuality, so I had to feel the same to be true to the character." "Now I can even start giving seduction classes," she jokes.

When asked how her beau, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, reacted to her bold role, she says, "Whatever I'll say will be overplayed, so I would keep quiet on that." However, she reveals her family members' reactions. "My mum said, 'you smoke so stylishly'. My sister said, 'it's sexy and not sleazy,' my brother-in-law said, 'I'm proud of you, and you are very courageous', but my father kept quiet."
