Anupam Kher completes 30 years in Indian cinema

Anupam Kher celebrates three decades in filmdom and remembers his critically acclaimed film Saaransh with love. He also said that his life changed after acting in the Mahesh Bhatt's directorial venture.

Anupam Kher celebrates three decades in filmdom and remembers his critically acclaimed film Saaransh with love.

"BV Pradhan (his character) of Saaransh. My life changed. I complete 30 years in Indian Cinema today (Sunday). Happy birthday to me," the National Award-winning actor posted on Twitter.

He also wrote that his life changed after acting in the Mahesh Bhatt's directorial venture.

"On May 25, 1984 a young man's life was to change for ever. A cult classic Saaransh was to release," he posted.

Anupam, who is married to actor-politician Kirron Kher, has been widely appreciated for his roles in films like Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara, Khosla Ka Ghosla!, A Wednesday, Saudagar and Lamhe.
