After showing a glimpse of his acting abilities in Black Friday and Zoya Akhtar’s Luck By Chance, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap seems to have been bitten by the acting bug. The filmmaker will now be doing two more films where he will play one of the principal protagonists.
While one of the projects is Onir’s I Am, where he plays a child-abusing father in one of the stories, Abhimanyu, in the movie; his other project is Nana Patekar starrer Shagird, where he would be seen in an author-backed role of a gangster.
Many don’t know that doing I Am disturbed Kashyap a lot as he has himself been a victim of child abuse. Noteworthy is that while the director is turning an actor, he has roped in filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia to turn an actor for his coal mafia thriller Gangs of Wasseypur.
