Actor Sonakshi Sinha says she enjoyed coming out with her maiden single and is eager to start work on her next song. While she has movie projects right now, she says she will start work as soon as possible.
“Right now, I’m working on my next with AR Murugadoss (director)and the sequel of Force (2011). But I already have my next single on my mind... As soon as I find some time to do it, I will!” says Sonakshi, adding that she learnt a lot from her first song.
“I have been involved with this right from the beginning. So, I have done everything that I wanted to, right from the start. I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of deciding on the genre, singing, jamming on the lyrics, conceptualising the look, giving my inputs for the video. I worked with a fantastic team on this one,” says the 28-year-old.
The actor, who has been balancing her time between projects, enjoys this, “I am a Gemini, an expert multi-tasker. It’s easy for me to switch between projects. It keeps me entertained,” she says.
Having started off as a fashion designer, Sonakshi delivered many hits and says that she is thoroughly enjoying being an actor right now and does not want to do anything else. “Right now I can’t imagine leaving it, but I also know that there will come a time when I will walk away, on my own terms and conditions. It won’t be for an alternative because there is nothing more that I like to do than entertain. If I leave, it will be because I feel fulfilled, and that’s that,” she says.
Leave singing to the singers: Kriti
Actor Kriti Sanon thinks singing should be left to talented singers. She says, “Singing should be left to someone actually talented, like the singers. You should have the passion for singing and samajh of sur because khud ke liye toh sab gaate hai.” What if she is offered to sing? “If I get an opportunity, I’ll take it up for experience, otherwise I’d rather have my sister sing. That would make my dream come true,” says Kriti whose sister’s cover version of a song from her film was much appreciated.
