If you still laugh out loud on Gogo’s entry, or swear by Amar-Prem’s friendship, then here’s good news for you: Andaz Apna Apna is reportedly being rebooted.
Director Rajkumar Santoshi’s 1994 comedy is likely to get a sequel by the end of this year, and if reports are to be believed then either Vikas Bahl or Vikramaditya Motwane is going to wield the megaphone for it.
Mumbai Mirror has quoted a source close to the film’s development saying, “It will be an in-house director at the helm, if not Vikas, it will be Vikram.” Bahl and Motwane work under the banner of Phantom films.
The source further said, “The script is locked. It has been developed by Vivek Soni and Hardik Mehta who won a National Award this year for his non-feature film on kite flying in Ahmedabad, Amdavad Ma Famous, under the creative supervision of Vikas. It’s a super script and promises loads of fun.”
