Arjun to walk Cannes red carpet with wife

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal will take to the red carpet at the opening night of the 65th Cannes International Film Festival with his wife Meher, a former supermodel, in tow.

The Rock On!! star and his partner will attend the grand event courtesy an exclusive invitation from Cannes film festival partner and global luxury brand, Chivas Regal.

Arjun, who is the ambassador of liquor brand Chivas, will promote the credo of Live with Chivalry at the cinematic extravaganza to be held May 16-27.

The 39-year-old is looking forward.

"It is an absolute honour to walk the haloed red carpet with the international superstars and filmmakers at the Cannes Film Festival and I am happy to represent Chivas at this global event," Arjun said in a press statement.

Other Bollywood celebrities likely to attend the fest are Aishwarya Rai, Mallika Sherawat, Bipasha Basu.

Five Indian films are set to be screened at Cannes this year. The list includes Ashim Ahluwalia's Miss Lovely, Anurag Kashyap's Peddlers, Gangs of Wasseypur - Part I and Gangs of Wasseypur - Part II and Uday Shankar's 1948 classic Kalpana.
