A lot of film celebrities, including Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma, branched out into acting only after first exploring a career in modelling. Lisa Haydon, too, was a successful model before she made her debut with the 2010 film, Aisha. However, one doesn’t often see actors going back to modelling. Ask Lisa about the trend, and she says it would be hard for her to go back to modelling as she is set in her ways in Bollywood. “As an actor, life is very different from when I was a model.

You get to play so many characters, and there’s a lot of work involved in doing that. Plus, the exposure in this field is great, and I enjoy what I’m doing as well. But it’s not like I don’t get to walk on the ramp. I have walked as a showstopper for fashion shows. But to go back? I don’t think that will work out for me,” she says.

It’s often reported that actresses don’t get along with each other on film sets. However, Lisa says that isn’t the case with her, and that she bonded with Nargis Fakhri and Jacqueline Fernandez when they were working on Housefull 3. “I think there is always so much talk about two actresses working together in films. There are stories of how they are probably not gelling well and ignoring each other on film sets, and things like competition. It’s not like that doesn’t happen, but it’s not all the time,” she says.
The actor will soon be seen in a web series with Shweta Tripathi and Sapna Pabbi. Lisa says, “The experience was fun, but because it was a web series, we had to work very, very hard (laughs).
