Pakistani singer Atif Aslam made his entry as a playback singer in Bollywood a decade ago. His songs Woh lamhe (Zeher; 2005) and Aadat (Kalyug; 2005) ranked him among the most sought-after singers in the Hindi film industry. However, while he has lent his voice to several actors, he had never sung a track picturised on Salman Khan. Now, for the first time, Atif has crooned for the actor in Kabir Khan’s

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

"It’s a romantic track that will feature Salman and Kareena Kapoor Khan," says a source from the film’s unit, adding that the track, titled Tu chahiye, is yet to be shot, and is composed by Pritam.

When contacted, Amar Butala, COO of Salman’s production company, confirmed the development, and said, "Tu chahiye is a love song, which will be shot in old Delhi. When Salman heard the scratch of the song, he suggested we record it with Atif. This will be the first time Atif will sing for him."
