Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan is bulldozing its way to record books. With a collection of Rs 240.72 crore by Sunday (in 10 days since its release on July 17), it has dethroned Kangana Ranaut and Madhavan's Tanu Weds Manu Returns (Rs 150 crore) from the list of 2015's highest grosser on the ticket windows.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has also earned Rs 83.29 crore in the overseas market. Trade analysts say that if the film sustains its super performance, it could well cross the unimaginable target of Rs 300 crore soon.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the story of a good-natured Indian Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi (Salman Khan) who fights all odds to reunite a lost Pakistani girl (Harshaali Malhotra) with her parents in that country.
The film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
