Pulkit Samrat plays a wannabe terrorist in Bangistan.
The official trailer of Riteish Deshmukh-Pulkit Samrat-Jacqueline Fernandez’s Bangistan was released late on Thursday.
A still from Bangistan.
Here's a place where bomb explosions are everyday affair, so it's named Bangistan. An all-religion conclave is about to be held in Poland and every 'religious leader' in the country is preparing for it in his own fashion. Riteish and Pulkit play two 'aspiring terrorists' in the movie.
The 2.25 minute-long video is a hilarious treat of satirical dialogues. Add to that Riteish Deshmukh's comic timings and you are all geared up for a laugh riot.
Sample some of these:
Riteish Deshmukh qualifies to be hired as a bomber because of his 'lambi daadhi' (length of his beard!).
Riteish, when talking about a guy called Allah Rakha, "Iske naam me Allah rakha hai aur aap keh rahi hain naam me kya rakha hai?"
Pulkit is one of the two 'aspiring terrorists' in Bangistan.
A bomb-dealer tells Pulkit, "Bomb fatne ki chinta mat karo, made in China! Aajkal to humare mobile phone bhi fat jaate hain."
Karan Anshuman has directed the movie and also co-written it along with Puneet Krishna and Sumit Purohit. Puneet Krishna is also the lyricist for Bangistan.
Karan was a film critic before he turned to direction in 2004 with his short film Bhaichara. Bangistan is his first full-length feature film.
Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Bangistan is slated to hit theatres on July 21, 2015.
