Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif, who has been banned till September 2, 2015, is reportedly attempting to reconstruct his life by turning actor in an upcoming Bollywood film titled Indian Mein Lahore.

In 2011, Asif was banned for seven years for bowling predetermined no-balls during the Lord's test against England.
The cricketer believes that the game is his priority and hopes to make a comeback to it, but he will take up more films if offered. He refers to acting as his ‘second career option’.
Stating that there is an evident parallel between an actor and a cricketer, Asif hopes that people will give him a second chance to make a name for himself.
