One might have to tweak an old adage. For, as far as the Kapoors are concerned, it seems that the family that travels together stays together. Ranbir Kapoor’s next, Besharam, which hits the screens on October 2, has given him and his parents, actors Rishi and Neetu Kapoor — who also star in the film — an opportunity to spend time with their daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who is based in Delhi. The trio will apparently be in the capital to launch a song from the film.
A source close to the production house says, “The makers were keen to have a special guest to launch the song. So Riddhima was asked to be a part of it. Recently, she was also seen on the sets when the song was being shot. In Delhi, the four hope to spend time together, since work usually doesn’t give them the chance to do so.”
Ask Riddhima about this, and she says, “I’d gone on the sets when the song was being shot. I’ve seen shoots before, but for my daughter, who is just two-and-a-half, it was a whole new experience. She saw her grandparents and mamu (Ranbir being the uncle) in completely different avatars. It was a unique experience for her. And ever since, she’s been humming the song.”
We’ve also been told that the song that features the Kapoor family for the first time, is an importantpart of the film. As the entire family will be in Delhi next week, they will get the chance to be together and catch up.
