Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently shopoting for Bhootnath 2, seems to be very happy to have met Salman Khan and Tabu who were also shooting nearby. Big B tweeted the pics and writes: "Chatting with Salman about his nerve problem .. he says he is recovering fast .. good!" Take a look

The first trailer of Bhootnath Returns – a sequel to Vivek Sharma's 2008 film Bhootnath- is out.

Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani in pivotal roles, Bhootnath Returns promises fun for kids, if the trailer is anything to go by. Bachchan wrote in a Facebook post that he is acting with child actor Parth in the film. The film also has cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.

It begins with Amitabh, the ghost, trying to convince people that he can scare kids away. Soon, he is sent to the earth to 'prove himself' by scaring a few kids!

In a small sequence, Amitabh tries to scare a kid saying, "Main bhoot hoon (I am a ghost!)," to which the kid replies, "Aur mai chudail hoon. Shaadi banayein kya? (And I am a witch. Shall we get married)".

For reasons not revealed in the trailer, Amitabh decides to fight election against Boman Irani. Going by the trailer, the film will take subtle potshots at our political system and politicians.

Nitesh Tiwari has directed the film that is set to hit theatres on April 11.

Sharing a link of the trailer on Twitter, Boman Irani wrote, "The Bhootnath Returns trailer is out! Hope you like it Mr Bachchan is a colossus of energy & young Parth is a delight."

As they say in the trailer, "Trailer hit to picture hit. Aur gaana hit, to picture superhit!"

Shared on YouTube late on Tuesday, the trailer has already garnered around 57,000 views.

Speaking at the launch of the trailer, Amitabh said that he didn't have the opportunity to share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor, who does a cameo in the film, and hope they can work together some day. "Ranbir has done a cameo but I have not shot with him. He is very popular and I can't compare myself with him. Hope I get to work with him someday."

Amitabh says he enjoys working with new generation. "I am still learning and for an actor, observation is very important. It has been so long for me in this industry and in every 10 to 15 years there is a new generation coming and I enjoy working with them," he added.

Sanjay Mishra also features in the movie. Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor will  be there in guest appearances.
