On Thursday (January 16) night, Amitabh Bachchan found himself engrossed in conversation with Salman Khan and Farhan Akhtar.
The chat was memorable because Big B delivered one of his career’s biggest hits with a film that was written by the two actors’ fathers — Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, respectively.
And to top it all, the three of them actually ended up discussing Sholay (1975) backstage at an awards function.
Bachchan revealed the details of his meeting with a post on Twitter that read, “At Guild function, Salman and I chatting back stage, and he could not stop praising the film and its contents .. Farhaan joining in (sic).”
The veteran star went on to write about the positive response that the 3D version of Ramesh Sippy’s film got when it was re-released recently.
He also posted, “Been quite a revelation to find such positive reactions to SHOLAY 3D .. most of it coming from kids not even born when it was made! (sic).”
