Bollywood BO report: Raabta earns Rs 5.61cr, Behen Hogi Teri collects Rs 1cr on day one

Rajkummar Rao-Shruti Haasan’s Behen Hogi Teri was released in just 757 screens across the country and has made a dismal collection of Rs 1 crore on day one. Sushant Singh Rajput-Kriti Sanon’s Raabta made opening collection of Rs 5.61 crore.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s Raabta had a bigger share in the number of screens this Friday - it released in almost double the number of screens as Rajkummar Rao’s Behen Hogi Teri. However, despite the advantage, Raabta managed a mere Rs 5.61 crore opening collection.

Rajkummar Rao plays the lead role in Behen Hogi Teri.

Behen Hogi Teri, on the other hand, was released in just 757 screens across the country and has made a dismal collection of Rs 1 crore on day one, Koimoi reported.

Directed by Dinesh Vijan, Raabta is a love story with reincarnation as the backdrop.

Debutant director Ajay K Pannalal’s Behen Hogi Teri is a rom-com based in Lucknow.

Both the films opened to bad reviews on Friday and have had disappointing performance at the ticket windows.
