Shoulder injury, back trouble, wrist problem, bruises... But Bollywood A-listers want no bed rest and are working full time.
Priyanka injured herself while performing on stage at the launch of a news channel in Mumbai recently. She was performing on the ‘Deva Shree Ganesha’ track from Agneepath when her wrist hit a nail and started bleeding. However, the 30-year-old didn’t let this affect her performance and completed her act without showing any sign of pain.
Aamir, who will next be seen on the big screen in Dhoom 3, injured his wrist and shoulder recently. The 48-year old visited a doctor in the US, but his shoulder has started troubling him again. However, Khan has been keeping his shooting commitments and has also been spotted on outings with wife Kiran Rao.
Kareena suffered from a severe dust allergy while shooting her upcoming film, Gori Tere Pyar Mein. The 32-year-old, who had earlier bruised herself while performing a stunt on a thick jute rope, also came down with high fever. however, Bebo continued shooting.
Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan will go to London for a shoulder surgery in June as he has been in pain for a while. However, the actor wanted to finish shooting his film, Chennai Express, before heading for the impending surgery. Reports suggest that Shah Rukh’s shoulder pain has aggravated because of his hectic schedule. His wife Gauri will reportedly accompany SRK to London for the surgery.
Akshay twisted his ankle while performing a stunt for his film, Pistol, in which he had to jump from the sixth floor of a building. Despite being in extreme pain, Akki continued working. Though director AR Murugadoss wanted to wrap up the shoot, Akshay insisted on finishing the work, as the team didn’t have permission to shoot in the location the next day.
Shahid got burn injuries on the set of Prabhudheva’s Rambo Rajkumar earlier this month. While shooting for a fire sequence, the chemical used to create the fire went awry and resulted in Shahid’s shoulder and hand getting burnt. Undeterred, Shahid is up for more dangerous stunts for the film.
