Taking a cue from the West, a host of Hindi movies are getting ready for grand world premieres this year. Full attendance expected on the red carpet.

Mausam
Shahid Kapoor-Sonam Kapoor starrer Mausam will have its world premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 14. Directorial debut of Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor, the movie will be featured as a special presentation at this year’s gala that will take place from September 8-18. Apparently, Mausam will be Shahid’s second film after Dil Bole Hadippa (2009) to premiere at the festival. The movie which is an epic love story spanning four different seasons of love, is releasing worldwide on September 16.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan
Katrina Kaif-Imran Khan starrer Mere Brother Ki Dulhan will have its world premiere in Abu Dhabi on September 7. The red carpet event will be attended by film’s lead cast Imran, Kaif, Ali Zafar and debutant director Ali Abbas Zafar. The producer of the movie Yash Raj Films, has joined hands with Zee Aflam, a pan Arab Bollywood film channel for the mega event in the United Arab Emirates, which is a considered to be a big market for Bollywood.

Ra.One
Shah Rukh Khan’s ambitious sci-fi action thriller RA.One will premiere in London on Oct 25. The day is apparently also the 20th wedding anniversary of SRK and Gauri. The actor has also handed a special invitation to Hrithik Roshan for the premiere, as Krrish, played by Hrithik in the movie Krrish (2006), is the favourite superhero of SRK’s children Aryan and Suhana.While the venue has not been announced yet, rumours suggest it is most likely to be at Leicester Square.
