Actor Ayesha Takia has inspired many to address their concern and not fall victim to bad behaviour. After her sister Natasha was ill-treated by a Kingfisher Airlines’ staff member, Ayesha posted her grudges on Twitter, criticising the incident, and received many responses from people, who too had faced similar situations.
Though Ayesha’s criticism lead to a bitter war of words with Sidhartha Mallya, son of Vijay Mallya, owner of Kingfisher Airlines, other celebs, who wrote about their experiences on Twitter, fortunately did not face a counter attack. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was one of the very first celebrities to recall his one-year old bad experience in Kingfisher Airlines."I had a terrible Kingfisher experience too. Flew to London last year and Sid Mallya was flying too & the entire staff was just catering to him. When the boss was there they forgot that others existed too," posted Anurag.
Filmmaker Kunal Kohli wrote, “Sitting in the plane for 55 mins before take off ? Once you’ve boarded they can’t say flt is late. Instead of landing at 3pm we’re taking off at 3 with no prior info that its delayed. Bad service! Not sure I’ll be flying Go Air again anytime soon. (sic)” Actor Rahul Bose too wrote about his airline woes.
