Bollywood takes to Twitter to extend Eid wishes

Several Bollywood and sport personalities took to Twitter to wish their friends and fans good health and happiness on Eid today. Here's what they posted.

Several Bollywood and sport personalities took to Twitter to wish their friends and fans good health and happiness on Eid today.

"Eid Mubaarak to all my Indian sisters and brothers. Sometimes I feel that all these festivals are glittering ornaments on the body of time," veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar tweeted.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan said, "Eid Mubarrak to all brothers and sisters, young and old, near and dear. Happy greetings for EID! May there be peace and love among all... and may all your wishes come true."

"Eid Mubarak and lots of love to everyone. May allah fulfil all dreams n bring peace to everyone," actress Ameesha Patel said.

"EID MUBARRAK- wishing u all happiness and prosperity," Riteish Deshmukh said.

Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, "EID MUBARAK!!!! All my love....always!!!"

Several others like veteran actor Dev Anand, director Punit Malhotra, singer Kailash Kher, actress Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia, Genelia D'souza and actors Abhishek Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi and Sanjay Suri also wished fans on the occasion.

While, others have expressed their love for special food items prepared for the festival. "Eid mubarak! I am all set for biryani at my dear frnds tonite! Dieting ki holiday!," actress Divya Dutta tweeted.

Sport personalities including Zaheer and Rohit Sharma sent across their wishes for Eid ul-Fitr.
"Eid Mubarak to all !! Miss being home on Eid," Zaheer Khan tweeted.

S Sreesanth, said, "Blessings of ALLAH fill ur life with happiness, open all doors of success now and alwayz. Wishing ur family a blessed and joyous Eid-Al-Fitr."
