Neil Nitin Mukesh and Prateik are actors who burst onto the scene and showed a lot of promise. While Neil started with the critically-acclaimed thriller, Johnny Gaddar (2007), Prateik made his debut with the hit Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na (2008), delivering a performance that was much talked about.

But from then to now, the pickings have gotten slim for these two boys. While Neil has done small bits in ensemble-cast-films like 7 Khoon Maaf (2011) and Players (2012), more has been written of late about Prateik’s relationship with Amy Jackson than his acting career.

Now, it’s being heard that the boys might finally have some work coming their way. iRock, who produced the Bollywood horror film, Ragini MMS (2011) with only fresh faces, now plans to work on bigger projects with more established names.

A source from the production house reveals that the makers have roped in Prateik and Neil Nitin Mukesh, along with actor Nafisa Khan (who until recently was called Jiah), for their upcoming projects.

“iRock has signed a three-film contract with each of the actors. They have also signed on actor Jiah Khan,” says the source. Jiah, too, last appeared in the mega-hit Housefull (2010), after which she disappeared from the silver screen.

The source adds, “iRock develops all its scripts in-house. We are brainstorming over subjects where we can pair Prateik or Neil opposite Nafisa.” Siddhartha M Jain, CEO and producer, iRock Films, confirms the news and says, “I think both Neil-Nafisa as well Prateik-Nafisa could make for a fresh pair.”
