The first trailer of much-awaited film Brothers, starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, is out. Directed by Karan Malhotra, the movie also features Jackie Shroff, Jacqueline Fernandes and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.

Akshay and Sidharth play brothers Monty and David Fernandes in the movie, which is a "story of love that got marked with hatred, so strong it turned blood against blood", as described by filmmakers. Sadly, there are way too many sequences in the trailer that remind one of the classic Rocky series, starring Sylvester Stallone. Can't we have anything original, guys?

Brothers is an official remake of the Hollywood movie Warrior (2011). The film traces the journey of two estranged brothers. When the younger son (Joel Edgerton) of an alcoholic former boxer (Nick Nolte) returns home, he's trained by his father for a mixed martial arts tournament - a path that puts him on a collision course with his older brother (Tom Hardy).

Reminds you of Dharamendra-Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol-starrer Apne? That film had Dharamendra as a driven coach who trained his sons to win an all-important boxing match.

While Akshay and Sidharth play the brothers, Jackie steps into the shoes of Nolte, who played the father in the original movie. Kareena Kapoor will also be seen in a guest appearance in the film.

The film is being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is set to hit theatres on August 14, 2015.

Watch the emotional journey of David and Monty as they come face to face in their fight for love and family.
