Remember iconic characters Bahadur, Chacha Chaudhury, Rajan-Iqbal, Fauladi Singh and others always fighting for people’s cause! On the same concept, forthcoming film Bullett Raja’s creative team has come out with a comic strip to create a hype amongst the masses.

The first part of 7 strips shows eve-teasers on a prowl outside a college and the protagonist of the film, riding a Bullett, coming to the girls’ rescue teaching the culprits a lesson. The dialogue reads: Insaaf to kanoon ke bina nahi aata…. Lekin jat tak Bullett Raja hai, tab tak suraksha hai!

“In time when people have lost faith in authorities, this character comes to the rescue of common man. He is violent but not a villain and is one of those characters who surfaces when people lose hope in the system. It reminds of my childhood favourite comic superhero Bahadur,” says National award winning director Tigmanshu Dhulia.

Currently available on the official Facebook page of the film, the comic will be available at Twitter and other social networking sites. It has been conceptualised by Brandsmith Motion Pictures and presenting partner Fox Studios. "It’s part of our campaign to create buzz among the netizens. It brings forth the character of Bullett Raja (played by Saif Ali Khan) as he is a great buddy, saviour, iconic character and dildaar. He fighting with eve-teasers or goons is part of his basic character," tells producer Rahul Mittra.

The team also intends to bring a physical copy of the comic. “It is creating a lot of buzz. We will be coming out with lot of strips in the run-up to the promo of the film which will hit screens in the first half of October,” adds Mittra.

The film, shot extensively in Lucknow and bits in Etawha, releases on November 30. It stars Saif, Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Shergil, Gulshan Grover and Vidyut Jamwal.
