Even as legendary actor Dilip Kumar’s fans are anxiously waiting to hear news of his recovery and discharge from a Mumbai hospital, Bollywood’s other big star, Amitabh Bachchan, has informed that the ailing superstar is doing good now. The Piku star said he had a word with the 93-year-old actor’s wife Saira Banu about his health.
“Saira ji informs me that he (Dilip Kumar) is doing fine, by the grace of the Almighty... Prayers for a speedy recovery...,” he posted on Twitter.

Kumar was admitted to a hospital in in Mumbai after he complained of respiratory problems. Banu had said they had to take him to the hospital as he was suffering from high fever and chest infection since April 15 night.
The legendary actor, whose real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan, acted in many superhit films during his six-decade long career such as Madhumati, Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Ram Aur Shyam and Karma. He was last seen in the film Qila in 1998.
Kumar was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
