Comedy has always been an integral part of Bollywood, and now, a TV show, Safar Filmy Comedy Ka, will celebrate the journey of comedy through 100 years of cinema.
Each episode will feature actors such as Juhi Chawla, Prem Chopra, Divya Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Asrani talk about their cinematic experience in comedy, and the Sab TV show will be hosted by actors Sunil Grover and Muskaan Mihani.

“It’s a tribute to the contribution of comedians and industry veterans to the genre of comedy. It feels great to be a part of a show that honours stalwart comedians,” says Muskaan, who has acted in shows such as Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother., Jugni Chali Jalandhar... and Dill Mill Gayye.

Sunil, who is known for his roles in shows such as Hans Balliye, Kaun Banega Champu and Gutur Gu, adds: “The show is amazing as I get to relive the magical moments of comedy with the biggest names of industry. Each episode will pay tribute to Bollywood comedians from different eras and will showcase one trend
of comedy including physical, action, slapstick, cult comedy, mistaken identity, etc across 100 years of cinema.”

Both Sunil and Muskaan are also looking forward to their filmy innings. “I’m doing a negative role in the film, Zila Ghaziabad. I can’t reveal more,” says Sunil, while Muskaan, who has taken a break from daily shows, says: “I’ll be featuring in an upcoming Punjabi film.”
