Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin, who was recently seen in a short film alongside actor Nimrat Kaur, says that he never takes competition seriously. The actor, who was last seen in Mardaani (2014), says that looking at his contemporaries doing well, motivates him to do better. “There is so much good work happening everywhere. There is enough work for everyone. So there is no fear when I look at other people doing well. But it makes you realise that its important to ensure that you keep your quality up,” he says.

Talking about his recent film, with Nimrat, Tahir says that while he wants to focus on his film career, he took up this short film because he liked the concept. “It was so interesting and the ending gave such a new twist to the story. It was a new genre of acting and I got to work with Nimrat, which was a bonus,” says Tahirr.

In fact, he says that he had interacted with Nimrat earlier, but never imagined that he would work with her. “It is so funny. I spoke to Nimrat after Mardaani. She told me that she liked the film. I also spoke to her during her film The Lunchbox . But we didn’t know that we would share such a great connection when we get to work together,” he says, adding, “I was still shooting for the sequel to Force, and she was shooting for Airlift, when this film came up. We got together and finished shooting for it in a day.”
