Condolences pour in on Twitter for veteran actor Pran

Bollywood stars turned to social networking sites like Twitter to offer their condolences to late Bollywood veteran actor Pran who died of a prolonged illness at the age of 93 on Friday evening.

Pran, the last gentleman villain of Bollywood, died on Friday evening at the age of 93 in a Mumbai hospital after a prolonged illness.


Recently awarded with a Dadasaheb Phalke Award, whose screen presence and charisma hypnotised generations for over five decades, Pran was a phenomenon in himself.

He showcased how much weight a villain's character is capable of carrying. He brought villains on par with heroes with his splendid performances.
