Rajshri’s Love You Mr Kalakar’s wrap-up party would have run into troubled waters, had the cast not managed to pacify the cops. “We were having a campfire in the lawns of Hotel Monarch in Ooty on the last day of the shoot. Amrita (Rao) and Tusshar (Kapoor) were dancing to the songs of the film and everyone was giving small thanksgiving speeches,” says S Manasvi, the director.

According to Kapoor, the hotel where they partied till 3 am, was situated right next to the police quarters, and due to the noise and music the police had to come and ask the crew to quiet down. “We were having fun. Some people were imitating the choreographer’s dance steps. Amrita and I pacified the cops, and shifted the party indoors. Rajshri parties never run into trouble. We didn’t even have alcohol. Since Ooty is a quiet town, some neighbours got disturbed,” says Kapoor.

But that wasn’t the only problem. Many members of the crew reported stomach problems after drinking the water in Ooty. Vikram Bhatt, who was also shooting in the city for Haunted, reported similar problems.

“Vikram was there, and some people from his team also complained of stomach infections,” says Manasvi. The cast and crew of Love You Mr Kalakar were in Ooty to shoot a sequence where Rao comes to Ooty to spend time with her grandfather (Prem Chopra), where she realises that she is in love with her lead actor played by Kapoor.
