Star kids often feel the pressure of meeting the expectations of the audiences vis-a-vis their parents’ success, but the only tension that actor Alia Bhatt has is giving smart quotes on various issues like her father Mahesh Bhatt .
“People constantly expect quotes from me because my father gives such good quotes. Sometimes my dad tells me, ‘You should behave like a thief. Take my quotes and don’t say they are mine’. I keep telling him that nobody is going to believe that they are my quotes,” laughs Bhatt, who was recently seen in Shakun Batra’s directorial Kapoor & Sons.
The actor, who turned 23 on March 23 a few days back, takes a lot of pride in telling everyone that she has turned a year older. “People tell me that I am so wise and sensible and it doesn’t seem like I am new in the industry. But they get surprised when they get to know that I am just 23,” says Bhatt, who made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year (2012).
“On my birthday this year, somebody said that I am turning 22 and I immediately corrected him and said, ‘No! I am turning 23’. I say it with a lot of pride when I turn a year older,” adds the actor, who has acted in films such as Highway(2015) and Shaandar (2015).
