While Dangal is slated to hit theatres this Christmas, Kaabil will release on January 26, 2017.

Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will not only clash at the box office this Diwali, the two big-budget films will also bring the first trailers of two other major upcoming releases. While Dangal trailer will be attached to Shivaay, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will have Kaabil trailer in the beginning, according to reports.

A Decan Chronicle report said the first trailer of Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal will be released with Shivaay. Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil starring Hrithik Roshan will have the trailer attached to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, it added.

Hindustan Times could not independently verify the report.

Talking about the BO clash of his directorial venture, Ajay had earlier said, “The clash really doesn’t matter. Though, a solo release is always a solo release. I am more concerned about what I am doing. I am not concerned about what others are doing.”

“When I announced the film for Diwali, at that time nobody else’s film was there. So, we thought this was the right time to release,” the 47-year-old actor added.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, a romantic-drama, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. The two films are set for Diwali release on October 28. Shivaay, on the other hand, is an action-adventure that not stars Ajay but also marks his second directorial venture.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal will hit theatres this Christmas while Sanjay Gupta’s latest directorial venture Kaabil is slated to release on January 26.

Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil is scheduled to clash with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees.
