Dear Zindagi quick take: Shah Rukh Khan lights up the film with his charm

Gauri Shinde, of English Vinglish fame, returns to the silver screen after four years with Shah Rukh Khan-Alia Bhatt-starrer Dear Zindagi. The film, that also stars Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar, Angad Bedi and Aditya Roy Kapur as Alia’s lovers.

Gauri Shinde of English Vinglish fame returns to the silver screen after four years with Shah Rukh Khan-Alia Bhatt-starrer Dear Zindagi.

We meet Kaira (Alia), a cinematographer who despite being good at her job, isn’t too happy in life. She juggles between her current love and a new fling. But then, enter Jug, her psychiatrist, who lightens up the film with thanks to Shah Rukh Khan’s charm. He is witty and sensitive at the same time.

Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar, Angad Bedi and Aditya Roy Kapur also appear in the film as Alia’s lovers.
