Deepika Padukone's parents host Ram-leela screening

Deepika Padukone’s performance in her latest film, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela has been widely appreciated.
And with the film being her fifth consecutive hit, her parents have plenty to be proud about. In fact, they have even hosted a screening of the film for family and friends in the actor’s hometown, Bengaluru.
While Deepika’s phone hasn’t stopped ringing since the release, her parents too have been flooded with congratulatory calls and messages. “With everyone wanting to watch the film and cinemas running packed houses, Deepika’s parents organised a special screening of the film for family and close friends,” says an insider, adding, “They all wanted to watch the film, so they asked her parents, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, to host a screening.”
The actor’s spokesperson confirms the news saying, “Yes, Deepika’s parents had organised a special screening for close friends and family in Bengaluru this week.”
