Deepika Padukone's Ram-leela to open MIFF

Starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, this is touted as the first Indian film to open any international festival. The festival will celebrate Indian cinema with the premiere screening of the film. The occasion will be attended by the director as well as Deepika.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-talked about film Ram-Leela will open the 13th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival (MIFF) on November 29.

Starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, this is touted as the first Indian film to open any international festival. The festival will celebrate Indian cinema with the premiere screening of the film. The occasion will be attended by the director as well as Deepika.

The film is a contemporary version of Romeo-Juliet, captured through Bhansali’s lens.
