“Next week onward, Deepika will begin shooting for Padmavati. It is going to be hectic, and the weekend is the only time that she will get to spend with her family. Since Diwali falls during the weekend (Sunday, October 30), the actor will fly to Bangalore to celebrate the festival with them,” says a source.

The source adds that Deepika will be leaving for Bangalore on October 28.

When contacted, Deepika says, “Diwali is the festival of lights, joy and happiness. It has always been a very special festival for all of us. So, I decided to spend quality time with my family before I immerse myself in Padmavati.”
