. Deepshikha has acted, directed, scripted, written dialogues and screenplay, choreographed and produced the film.

“Everything fell in my lap. I had approached various writers and directors, but everyone was busy. I couldn’t wait any further and had to take the mantle myself,” Deepshikha says, adding, “Doing all the things simultaneously wasn’t easy, as I was doing it for the first time.”

Yeh Dooriyan

is a story of a single, divorced mother (played by Deepshikha) of two, who runs a dance academy. She falls in love with a much younger student (Keshav Arora).

Nothing personal

It was also rumoured that the actors got close on the sets and are now dating. When asked, Deepshika neither denies nor confirms.

“Keshav is a very hard working and talented actor. During the shooting of the movie, we became very close friends and were very comfortable working with one other. The only thing I’m in love with is my film, I can’t say anything beyond that,” she reveals.

Family business
